I've been to the River's Edge several times and have always enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, good service and cold brews. Sandwiches are always tasty and apps are delicious. This the me I had the oysters on the half shell, which were fresh and satisfying. It's nice that be able to sit outside and enjoy the river.
We stopped in this past Sunday for lunch with our pup The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The food was simple and tasty and the pricing was very fair! If you are looking for a very laid back spot on the water. I recommend checking this place out!
1st time, great time. Our waitress Victoria was great and curated great vibez from Go!! Food was great and came out with great temps. Will definitely be back.
Service was outstanding. Food was very good, but we sat outside to hear the musician, and I was surprised that smoking was allowed. There weren't a lot of people smoking cigarettes, but one man smoking a cigar while you're eating is enough to make it a bad experience.
Drove by here when I visited the Showman's Museum a couple of weeks ago and decided to bring a friend and give it a try. While I'm not personally a fan of these sort of biker/dive bars, we decided to give it a try anyway and see if it was worth the trip. The inside was empty and loud, with some pool tables and booths, but we came to sit on the deck and enjoy the nice (enough) weather. We were told to sit anywhere and soon after our waitress came to take our drink orders. Maybe it was because we weren't day drinking or maybe it was because we didn't fit into what their target market, but the waitress seemed more annoyed that we were there than happy for the customers on a Wednesday afternoon. No welcoming demeanor, no trying to make a connection, just, "do you know what you want to drink/order/drink, etc?" The soda came in a can instead of a fountain, which is always annoying. I wish I would have known that before I ordered one. I had the blackened Mahi sandwich from the waitress' suggestion and found the fish to be pretty well cooked. The tarter sauce tasted like mayo with relish in it, though, and didnt come with the sandwich as I had to ask for it. Not that the mahi needed tarter sauce, but the bun needed something. The bathrooms were OOO and they had some temporary restrooms brought in, so I can't speak to how clean the regular restrooms are, but there were ashtrays on many of the tables and that kind of made me glad we were there when it wasn't busy so we didn't have to smell anyone smoking. All-in-all, nothing was bad, it just wasn't great. I kept getting the feeling that they wouldn't have cared for our business at all, or that our being there was somehow inconvenient.
We have eaten at this restaurant many times, and have thoroughly enjoyed it on every occasion. Very simple, but great menu and great views of the river from your table. Can’t think of a time when we’ve had a bad meal, and have enjoyed breakfast / brunch as well as multiple dinners. Great place to celebrate anniversaries, events, birthdays, etc! Typically have very good service, Kylie in particular is is a very helpful, professional and friendly team member. Highly recommend!
Torie our waitress was very nice. The service was quick and the food was very good.We ordered the raw oysters " meaty and delicious " Wifes grouped sandwich was i big juicy filet" Ruben was tender and delicious. Definitely will be returning
I don't think i've ever been able to say anything negative about this place! Atmosphere is always wonderful. Staff is always great, even when they're short on servers. They bust their butts, making sure customer service is a priority. My boiled shrimp always comes out. Perfect hot or cold :)
